From 1 January 2027 only 30 mm of height will be allowed instead of 50 mm – we have two ready-made ways that fit.

What changes on 1 January 2027

From 1 January 2027 Maxibrief and Großbrief may uniformly be no more than 30 mm high. For the Maxibrief that is a significant change – until now 50 mm were permitted. Anyone sending specimen and sample material by Maxibrief should adapt their packaging in good time.

The Maxibrief is getting flatter: from 1 January 2027 a single maximum height of 30 mm applies instead of the previous 50 mm. Shown is the Süsse Post Box item 11225, printed with UN3373 and exactly 30 mm high on the outside.

Two ways under 30 mm

For sending samples we have two matched ways – both stay within the format and meet packing instruction P650. The basic rule: exactly one rigid component per consignment.

Way A · with the poly mailer — 28.3 mm

Rigid blister or round protective container in the flexible CoEx poly mailer. Flat and economical.

Way B · with the Post Box — 30 mm

Flexible specimen transport bag in the rigid Süsse Post Box. Protected all round.
